Our Board of Directors is made up of committed volunteers who share a goal of assisting the County in it's conservation and environmental education goals.
The mission of the CCCF is to support the programs and facilities of Clinton County Conservation with an emphasis on promoting environmental education through community outreach to school children and adults.
The all-volunteer board is comprised of community leaders, Conservation staff, and Conservation Board members.
On the first Saturday in November we hold our Annual Fundraising Banquet. This banquet features great food locally catered, a variety of raffles, and items to bid on both live auction and silent auction style. All proceeds are used locally for environmental education and conservation.
The last Saturday in February we host our Winter Family Fun Day followed by our Polar Plunge this is a great way to experience everything that Clinton County Conservation has to offer families in the winter months here in Iowa. The Polar Plunge is a great way to help support this cause either by taking the plunge yourself or by contributing to someone you know who will be taking the plunge.
On the Last Sunday in August we hold our annual Catfish Classic catfishing tournament. This is a great way to get out on the water and enjoy some fishing and support local conservation and environmental education all at the same time. For more information checkout the Catfish Classic page on this website.
Each year we hold annual events to help raise money and awareness about the Environmental Education, Conservation, and Facilities that our county has to offer. Take note of these and help support our mission by attending these wonderful events throughout the year.
